    中国签证申请及高校报到注册

  • 一、签证申请

    1.申请自费来华学习的留学生,可在留学中国网及相关高校网站查阅有关招生信息,并直接与所申请高校的来华留学生招生办公室联系。录取审核通过后,由录取高校发送《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》(JW202表),学生可通过此表向所在国家使领馆递交签证申请,申请通过后即可来华留学。
    2.申请中国政府奖学金来华学习的留学生,须向所在国负责派遣留学生的有关部门、机构、学校或中国驻所在国大使馆(总领事馆)提出申请。获得中国政府奖学金来华学习的留学生,由录取高校发送录取通知书和JW201表,学生可通过此表向所在国家使领馆递交签证申请,申请通过后即可来华留学。

    二、注册
    凡被中国高校录取的留学生,应按照《录取通知书》规定的时间到校注册。一般注册流程如下:

    1.奖学金生
    (1)持本人护照、《录取通知书》、JW201表到学校指定的住宿服务中心或留学生公寓办理住宿手续。
    (2)到所在高校留学生管理办公室办理相关注册手续,按照校方要求完成信息登记、提交相应材料并领取入学指南等文件。
    (3)奖学金、生活费及安置费按照相关政策规定的标准发放,并经高校审核后,按照学校要求领取。
    中国政府全额奖学金生每月生活费标准(人民币)如下:
    本科生、汉语进修生1400元;
    硕士研究生和普通进修生1700元;
    博士研究生和高级进修生2000元。
    国际中文教师奖学金生每月生活费标准(人民币)如下:
    本科生、汉语进修生和普通进修生1400元;
    硕士研究生1700元;
    博士研究生2000元。
    奖学金、生活费、安置费的领取及银行卡办理相关要求,以各高校发布的正式规定为准。
    (4)到高校所在地国际旅行卫生保健中心办理体检或健康认证手续。
    (5)领取学生证。
    (6)办理居留许可手续。

    2.自费生
    (1)计划在校内住宿的留学生,请持护照、《录取通知书》、JW202表等材料,到学校指定地点办理住宿手续。在校外住宿的留学生,须按规定办理并提交合法的住宿登记证明。
    (2)到所在高校留学生管理办公室办理相关注册手续,按照校方要求完成信息登记、提交相应材料并领取入学指南等文件。
    (3)根据学校要求的缴费方式,按时完成学费、保险费等费用的缴纳,并妥善保留缴费收据。
    (4)到高校所在地国际旅行卫生保健中心办理体检或健康认证手续。
    (5)领取学生证。

    3.在校生
    学期开学时,在校生须按学校规定日期持所需证件与材料(通常包括护照、学生证、有效住宿登记证明及保险购买凭证等)办理学期注册。
    凡在册留学生,应自开学之日起按学校规定的期限完成注册。因故无法按时注册者,须提前向校方请假,未经批准而逾期未注册者,按学校学籍管理规定处理。

    I. Visa Application

    1. International students applying for self-funded study in China can consult relevant admissions information on the Study in China website and the websites of relevant universities, and contact the International Student Admissions Office of the university directly. After the admission review is approved, the admitting university will issue the

    Admission Notice

    and the

    Visa Application Form for Foreign Students to Study in China

    (JW202 Form). With these documents, students can submit a visa application to the Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country. Once the visa application is approved, they can come to China to study.

    1. International students applying for a Chinese government scholarship must submit their applications to the relevant departments, agencies, or schools responsible for sending students abroad in their home country, or to the Chinese embassy or consulate (consulate general) in their home country. Students who receive a Chinese government scholarship will be issued an

    Admission Notice

    and a JW201 Form by the admitting university. With these documents, they can submit a visa application to the Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country. Once the visa application is approved, they can come to China to study.

    II. Registration

    All international students admitted to Chinese universities must register at the university within the time specified in the

    Admission Notice

    . The general registration process is as follows:

    1. Scholarship Students

    (1) Present your passport,

    , and JW201 Form to the designated accommodation service center or international student dormitory of the university to complete check‑in procedures.

    (2) Go to the International Student Office of the university to complete the relevant registration procedures, including information registration as required by the university, submitting the required documents, and receiving the orientation guide and other materials.

    (3) Scholarships, living allowances, and relocation allowances will be distributed according to the relevant policies and standards, and after verification by the university, they can be collected in accordance with university regulations.

    The monthly living allowance (in RMB) for Chinese government full scholarship students is as follows:

    • Undergraduate students and Chinese language preparatory students: 1,400 RMB
    • Master’s students and general visiting students: 1,700 RMB
    • Doctoral students and senior visiting students: 2,000 RMB

    The monthly living allowance (in RMB) for International Chinese Language Teacher scholarship students is as follows:

    • Undergraduate students, Chinese language preparatory students, and general visiting students: 1,400 RMB
    • Master’s students: 1,700 RMB
    • Doctoral students: 2,000 RMB

    Requirements for receiving scholarships, living allowances, relocation allowances, and for applying for bank cards are subject to the official regulations issued by each university.


    (4) Go to the International Travel Health Care Center in the city where the university is located to undergo a medical examination or health certification.

    (5) Collect your student ID card.

    (6) Apply for a residence permit.

    2. Self‑funded Students

    (1) If planning to live on campus, present your passport,

    Admission Notice

    , JW202 Form, and other materials at the designated university location to complete check‑in procedures. If living off campus, you must complete and submit a legal accommodation registration certificate as required.

    (2) Go to the International Student Office of the university to complete the relevant registration procedures, including information registration as required by the university, submitting the required documents, and receiving the orientation guide and other materials.

    (3) Pay tuition fees, insurance fees, and other fees on time according to the payment methods specified by the university, and keep the payment receipts carefully.

    (4) Go to the International Travel Health Care Center in the city where the university is located to undergo a medical examination or health certification.

    (5) Collect your student ID card.

    3. Returning Students

    At the beginning of the semester, returning students must complete semester registration by bringing the required documents and materials (usually including passport, student ID card, valid accommodation registration certificate, and proof of insurance purchase) on the date specified by the university.

    All registered international students must complete registration within the period specified by the university starting from the first day of the semester. Students who cannot register on time for any reason must request leave from the university in advance. Those who fail to register by the deadline without approval will be dealt with according to the university’s student status management regulations.
